Runway pricing (2026): how many videos does each plan actually give you?
Tired of paying for a video generator, burning the credits in a weekend, and only then finding out what the plan really bought you? Here is Runway's math before you subscribe.
Runway's Standard plan is $15 a month for 625 credits. At 60 per 5-second Gen-4.5 clip that is 10 generations — and if you re-roll every other one, roughly 3 videos you would actually keep.

“Generations” is the monthly allowance divided by the cost of one clip at the settings shown, rounded down. “Usable at 3 tries” assumes you keep one clip in three; change that assumption on the full comparison. Yearly prices are shown per month.
The catch
- Paid plans remove watermarks. Max allows one month of credit rollover. No promotional unlimited output or upscaling included.
What a real user found
In a Gen-4.5 discussion, users reported motion/morphing problems on difficult actions such as rope skipping. Do not infer a current failure percentage from this thread.
Trade-off: Gen-4.5 consumes Standard credits quickly; other models have different rates.
